LightHouse DC (“LightHouse”) is an incorporated organization of Washington, DC, founded in February 2017 by nonprofit and community leaders. LightHouse was formed in response to a glaring problem: lack of furniture and household goods for homeless and low-income people who secure housing. Many families and individuals who obtain housing are forced to live in an empty space, eat or sleep on the floor, or even delay moving in. As a result, they are denied the basic enjoyment and benefits of a stable home.
We welcome DC United to Audi Field (Scheduled to open in 2018).
DC United works with the community and was a proud sponsor of Feeder 2.0.
They hold Cup Titles in 2004, 1999, 1997 and 1996 and is member of the Eastern Conference in Major League Soccer.
As the old 11th Street river bridges that connect Washington, D.C.'s Capitol Hill and historic Anacostia neighborhoods are being replaced, the District government and a local nonprofit organization, Building Bridges Across the River at THEARC, proposes to transform the aged infrastructure into the city's first elevated park: a new venue for healthy recreation, environmental education and the arts.
NSCP directors have helped facilitate roundtable discussions on the project, sat on committees and have hosted Scott Kratz on our river cruises to help provide a unique perspective as the boat sits by the piers in the Anacostia. NSCP Supports this wonderful project as a way help shape DC the way the Highline shapes NYC.
